Contact Cultural Lens

We welcome collaboration, research contributions, and dialogue with the wider media studies community.

How to Connect

Cultural Lens is built on collaboration. We are always open to hearing from researchers, writers, educators, and institutions who share our interest in the critical study of media, communication, and digital culture.

Whether you are interested in contributing an article, proposing a joint research project, exploring a partnership arrangement, or simply starting a conversation about shared intellectual interests — we welcome the approach. Our editorial team reviews all correspondence and aims to respond to serious enquiries in a timely manner.

We are particularly interested in perspectives from outside the dominant media research centres — contributions from diverse geographic, cultural, and disciplinary contexts are strongly encouraged.

Academics, independent researchers, and practitioners at all career stages are welcome to propose work. We do not require institutional affiliation — we require intellectual rigour, clear argument, and genuine engagement with the questions that define media and cultural studies today.

What We Are Looking For

Editorial Contributions

Long-form analytical essays, research summaries, and commentary pieces on any aspect of media, digital culture, or cultural theory. We value original argument over comprehensive literature review.

Research Partnerships

Collaborative research initiatives, co-authored projects, and institutional partnerships that expand our capacity to undertake sustained, in-depth investigation of media phenomena.

Events & Panels

Symposia, panel discussions, and public events focused on media and cultural questions. We welcome invitations to participate and propose our own gatherings in collaboration with partner institutions.

Data & Resources

Shared datasets, archival materials, and methodological resources that support collaborative and open research in media and cultural studies.

Follow Our Work

Cultural Lens maintains an active presence across academic and public channels. Following our work is the easiest way to stay informed about new publications, ongoing projects, and opportunities to engage with our research community.
