The Media, Community and the Creative Citizen project explores creative citizenship in various forms, with a strand in hyperlocal publishing being led by staff at Interactive Cultures.
A recent AHRC event showcasing projects in their Connected Communities programme gave us the opportunity to disseminate some of our current work in these areas. A were made for the showcase; one for each of the research strands, and one longer film about the project as a whole.
We also created a number of posters for the event, the following two illustrating some of our work so far in a count of hyperlocal stories over a sample period, and a content analysis of those stories. A larger PDF of the content analysis poster can be found here.
