Representatives of Sage, Palgrave, Berg, Humanities eBooks, Intellect, Adam Matthew Digital, JURN and several University publishing houses joined academics from the Birmingham Centre for Media and Culture Research on Monday 6th September at a conference to discuss the field of Digital Academic Publishing.

Interactive Cultures research student Rob Horrocks presented a report on a series of interviews with publishers who had been invited to consider the opportunities, problems, successes and concerns offered by digital publishing possibilities.
In workshop sessions issues delegates were able to elaborate on the issues from their perspective.
