The questions raised are quite interesting, a report into studying the consumption of music in this digital age would be useful to upcoming artist/musicians as well as the present. The way music is consumed is changing due to the digital environment and although strategies are often necessary to get out the most out of music ventures but the honesty and creativity lies at the heart of it all.

Questions I think about also are:

* Does this 'obsession' with technology detract from the creative process?

* Is there even a process or is it a 'lets get it out there quick' approach, feeling pressurised keep up/stay ahead?

* Do social networks encourage a sense of illusion into the fan base and audience artists/bands actually have?

* Is it time to just get back to the music?
